bio
Robert E. Green: Graduated FSU in 1975. History of innovation began at FSU when I began work on improving efficiency of electrolysis. History, Awards and achievements in Innovation. 1994- 2007 formed Witten Technologies, Inc (WTI)to work with Dr. Witten of Oak Ridge Natl Labs to develop Geophysical Diffraction Tomography (GDT) into Radar Tomography (RT). In 2001 RT received international attention for work helping image damages from 911 attack. 2002 - In 2002 WTI won NOVA Award - Innovation in Construction from CIF at Univ Of Michigan. 2002 - won $1 mm grant from USDOT over 70 other applicants to integrate RT with a new arrayed induction tomography system we invented. 2004 Won Florida Engineering Society Governor's New Product Award causing the Federal Highway Administration to state adoption of RT a 'strategic objective'. 2004, won the Wall Street Journal's international competition for INNOVATION OF THE YEAR FOR SOFTWARE. The WSJ further named RT the 5th most important innovation that same year. 2009, Formed Greenavationas Power to enter the solar industry. First two arrays were the largest built in Georgia. 2013 Helped develop 3rd solar array which was the largest array east of the Mississippi River. 2017 Began to engage in developing ways to allow solar to work in 24/7 Waste Water Treatment facilities. 2019 Contracted to design and build Maryland's pilot project for its Net Zero Community at Perry Point, MD. Project funded by State of MD's legislature. 2022 - received results of pilot project. It was a complete success. The 74 residential units had achieved net zero. Robert Green's broad range of education in Science, experience in construction, skill in innovation, technical development and financial modeling enabled the innovative solutions in applying 'physics to finance' for solar energy. In 2020 American Solar Rail (ASR) was formed to develop several innovations Robert had realized would dramatically improve and fulfill America's need to create effective high-speed rail. Current methods of passenger exchange and the energy of propulsion needed changing. Community Solar fits precisely into the development plans. The Community are the passengers and the Solar is the same energy both require. The relationship can become symbiotic.
