Mechanical Engineer, Design BS Degree from UC Berkeley, California (took ~250 credits in 7years vs 180 credit in 4years for BS degree due to self-directed program). Secured both funding for school and job offer for myself during senior year field trip for suggesting solution to industrial host's project. Credit given to NCO leadership efforts while MCB8 (Vietnam 1968) and RMCB2 (SF Bay area 1966-1975) "SeaBee". Secured job title as "Project Leader" in first 3months of employment at leading aerospace company on multi-million dollar project. Completed 7 out of 8 follow-on projects either ahead of schedule or under budget (sometimes both). Created 13 patents (first one applied for in 1986) that allowed (circa 1988) Hughes Aircraft Co/Raytheon Ballistic Missile Defense Program (known by LEAP, "Brilliant Pebble", and other titles) to be successful per classified co-authored papers published 1996 by Raytheon & NSA.
