Gabe Landes is a sustainability expert with over a decade of experience spanning strategy, partnerships, design, engineering, operations, and craft. His areas of expertise include renewable energy, resilient agriculture, sustainable architecture, and construction management.
Some of Gabe’s most notable accomplishments include facilitating the expansion of Solarize NYC and Community Shared Solar NYC, launching the New York State office for Borrego Solar, and designing and managing the construction of over 49.8 MW of commercial and utility-scale solar projects. He has also designed and built energy storage devices and agricultural systems.
Across all his work, Gabe seeks to make a meaningful, positive impact on the urban ecosystem of New York City and its people. He generates and implements innovative, tech-forward, ambitious ideas that deliver ecological, social, and financial results.
Gabe earned his BA in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Wesleyan University and his Masters in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has been featured in the Financial Times and Thomson Reuters. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his family.
