Jacqueline Pérez Torres was born in Maricao, P.R. He has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez (RUM). He holds a master's degree in Engineering Management from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of construction, engineering and entrepreneurship. He has worked in airports, universities, rural communities and disadvantaged in Puerto Rico. Recently, together with other agricultural businesswomen in the Maricao area, I created the Bucarabón Foundation, rescuing what was their primary and intermediate school in the rural area of Maricao. The foundation is dedicated to developing the social economy in an area devastated by the depopulation caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017.
