bio
Jessica is a 25-year professional and executive that has spent much of her career in startup environments and the past several years working in advanced clean energy manufacturing. Jessica’s experience in engaging and supporting disadvantaged communities stems from her decade of service with Greenhouse Scholars, an education nonprofit that leverages leaders from disadvantaged backgrounds to create broad community change. After serving as a key volunteer for Greenhouse Scholars for over a decade, she joined as Chief Operating Officer in 2018 where she led the core program team in scaling the “Whole Person” and “Young Leaders” programs to impact under-resourced communities in new states as part of their expansion goals. Jessica’s years of working with disadvantaged students and their families combined with her experience in cleantech workforce development is the inspiration for Project New Worth. Jessica is an 18-year resident of Colorado, and a mother of two who will celebrate a 20th anniversary with her husband in June 2024. She has developed a large network of personal and professional contacts that she’s already begun to leverage for Project New Worth.
