Jordan Leidner received his B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin with focus on solid state electronics and electromagnetic engineering. He proceeded on to his Ph.D. studies at The Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester, completing his thesis on broad-area semiconductor laser brightness and now work on the physics of high-power optical fiber lasers.
