Katy Ashe cofounded Noora Health, a social enterprise that trains marginalized patient families with health skills to save lives. She works all over India to bring health training skills to the people that need it most in order to empower communities and raise those living in poverty out of illness. Previously, she lived in the Amazon Rainforest, where she infiltrated illegal gold mines and led research that uncovered the detrimental health impacts caused by illegal gold mining on the local tribes. Katy has a BS & MS in engineering from Stanford & she believes in helping marginalized communities thrive by empowering them with better tools and honest information.
