My name is Leona Flinn, born in Lewiston, NY. I am currently serving in the United States Army for 19 years and 8 months. During my service, I have found challenges as an opportunity for innovative thought and ideas. Many of my ideas come from challenges or processes that need improvement. I am an experienced Operational Manager with a demonstrated history in the Logistics and Supply Chain. Certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Program Management Professional with Villanova University. Additional Certifications are in Peace Operations Training Institute; Human Rights, Gender Awareness, and Military Studies. I have volunteered throughout my 42 years as a Bible Study Instructor, Volunteer Staff on a Youth Program with FCOGC, Child Development Center Volunteer member, SPCA, Humane Society of Maryland, Read Across America, Red Cross Disaster Responder and Educational Instructor, Wounded Warrior Project Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
