Founded in 1978, Loisaida Inc. aims to address the economic, environmental, and social disenfranchisement of Latinx & low-income working class residents, by offering multigenerational programming that appeals to the critical needs and sensibilities of the Lower East Side (“Loisaida”) neighborhood. Over the years, Loisaida Inc. has developed and successfully implemented workforce development, youth leadership, after school, and other community development programs.
