Madeline harnesses positive, proactive communications to bring about change, improve communities, inspire, motivate, educate, and add value to people and the planet.
She brings two decades of integrated marketing communications experience to her role as director of operations for LatinoBuilt Foundation and as owner/principal of Puddletown PR LLC, a trusted partner and advisor for clients seeking to achieve audacious goals in the face of great challenges.
She brings a focus on Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to her work and earned a certification from Boston College in Corporate Citizenship Management in March 2023. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of American and former president of the local Oregon PRSA chapter board of directors, and an alumna of Leadership Portland, in addition to having served on several foundation and nonprofit boards.
Recent roles have included strategic communications & partnerships advisor to the president of Oregon’s largest private nonprofit university; an Umpqua Bank senior communications manager; a vice president at H&K Strategies; and founder and owner of KinetiComm LLC.
A Portland, Ore. native, Madeline earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in public relations and English literature from Gonzaga University. Her work has earned awards for campaigns, annual report writing, community relations, events, speech writing, and opinion-editorial writing, among others. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring outdoors, traveling, practicing Spanish, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
