Maria Martinez - La Roche is a Designer that lives in Santa Monica, California, since 1998. She is involved in the design world since 1985 first as an architecture student and then as an architecture professor for 10 years in Venezuela. She has a Master Degree in Architecture. She took some courses in the UCLA Architecture Department and in the UCLA Extension fine art. She has a Graphic Design certificated from Santa Monica Community College. And used to paint, work in web design, app development and illustrations. She has some skills drawing, painting and working with computer in programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, InDesign and After Effect. Maria also is a Mother of three kids; the youngest one (16) has autism. She and his husband with the help of a computer engineer develop an AAC app to help his son to communicate.
