“I want to show everyone that there is always a better way.”
After earning my BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas I went to work on the International Space Station program as a fluid systems engineer at McDonnell Douglas first in Houston then in Huntington Beach, CA. I then worked on the F/A-18 Superhornet at Northrop Grumman followed by the MD-11 in Long Beach. My career shifted to computer modeling, rendering, and animation for industrial design and special effects for film and television. For six years I demonstrated cutting edge hardware and software at car companies and movie studios. In 2002 I switched gears to work for automotive design firms in Southern California like Nissan Design, Mercedes Benz Advanced Design, Fisker Automotive, and now Kia Design America. In my spare time I have designed and built aircraft seats and omni-directional mobility chairs. I learned to power paraglide and flew to work and back in 2015. I now am a distributor for and fly the Mirocopter SCH-2A ultralight coaxial helicopter.
