Marlise Riffel is the current President of Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability, a nonprofit facilitating collaboration towards sustainability on the Iron Range of Minnesota. She is an environmental sociologist who taught for 35 years in the Minnesota State College system. Prior to that, her work with low-income communities sparked her interest in environmental justice.
