I come from an underserved community in Shreveport Louisiana. I graduated from a Job Corps when I did not Finnish school on time, and then went on to earn my degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Grambling State University. I went on to work in Controls and Automation in the HVAC industry, Solar and Energy Management, and I have currently been employed in IT for over 10 years in addition to small businesses and nonprofits that I have started over the years since college.
