Michael is currently a Doctor of Engineering Science candidate in Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University's Center for Life Cycle Analysis (CLCA) in the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
He is a Certified Energy Manager with an active T/S Clearance, LEED AP O+M, NABCEP Solar PV Associate, and holds a MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Michael has provided consulting services to OBO since 2014 at embassies worldwide including technical expertise on building automation systems, system audits and technical training to local facilities staff. He has experience performing site assessments to identify obstructions, performance improvement strategies and energy savings tactics including financial analyses to demonstrate NPV and ROI of investments to clients. Michael installs and commissions 3 kW to 2 MW+ solar photovoltaic arrays and conducts ASHRAE Levels 1-3 energy audits of new and existing USG compounds from West Africa to South America.
