Dr Kio received a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering. He is a senior member of the American Institution of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He is also a chartered engineer in the United Kingdom, a professional engineer (P.E.) in the United States, and a professional project management practitioner (PMP).
