“Design Challenges”
bio
Dr. Wylie currently leads the engineering team at Paulsson, Inc. to design and build all optical instrumentation and sensors. He has extensive experience building and operating WDM and TDM fiber optic sensor arrays and designing fiber optic sensors based on both interferometry and scattering based fiber measurements. Dr. Wylie worked on the team that developed the EREBOS® fiber optic interrogator based on Brillouin Scattering. Dr. Wylie holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialty in fiber optic sensors. Dr. Wylie, at PI, has managed other DOE funded projects that totaled just under $3 million in funding.
