Norman, Oklahoma, United States
“The world is what we make it and I choose to make it better than I found it.”
bio
My name is Mitchell Jacob. I am a husband, father of five, and Army Veteran. I have lived a full life which has included experiences such as riding 1,000 miles on a bicycle (by myself) through the Mojave and Sonoran desserts, training for long distance runs in Alaska in the dead of winter and enjoying the full month of Krewes during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I am currently in my second year of law school, though I am a non-traditional student and older than most of my peers. Presently, I am writing a law review article exploring vertically-integrated electric utilities and have spent many hours researching and studying electric regulation in states such as OK and NC. I have experience as a banker and was a stockbroker before my time serving in the Army. I am comfortable being accountable for large sums of cash and operating as a fiduciary. I believe this confluence of experiences will help me contribute to enter the solar industry and be a steward of the environment and any prize money.
