Nihar Pradhan
Associate Professor at Jackson State University
Jackson, Mississippi, United States
“Curiosity to build or create something truly new and impactful.”
bio
Dr Pradhan is an Associate Professor of Physics expertise in experimental condensed matter physics, in the department of Chemistry, Physics and Atmospheric Science. Graduated with PhD in Physics from the Department of Physics, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts. Then gained experienced in multidisciplinary science during his postdoctoral research work at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA and National High Magnetic Field at Tallahassee, Florida. His interdisciplinary research work spans from material science and engineering to the basic fundamental condensed matter physics. His team is currently focusing on the projects of Solid State Capacitive Energy Storage devices and their applications, electrochemical energy storage and exploring optoelectronic properties of low dimensional (two-dimensional) Quantum Materials, low temperature electron physics on heterostructure integrated 2D Materials systems.
