I coordinate an extensive portfolio of large multi-institution bioinformatics-related projects and ensure smooth operation and clear communication between collaborators and with the public. My involvement in the bioinformatics open-source community includes chairing the annual Bioinformatics Open Source Conference (BOSC) and serving as a board member of the Open Bioinformatics Foundation, whose mission is to promote open source software development and Open Science within the biological research community.
