Dr. Pawan K. Kanaujia brings over a decade of expertise in lasers, materials, and optoelectronics, with a specific focus on solar cell fabrication and recycling. He has co-filed two US patents on laser-based solar module recycling alongside Prof. Gupta. With experience on projects for DOE, NASA, and the US Navy, he currently serves as a senior postdoctoral researcher at the University of Virginia. Prior to this role, he was a research scientist at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2018 to 2021.
