Qing Zhu received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Houston and his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University. His current research interests include fabricating novel heat switch devices using magnetic thin films and measuring thermal properties of nanomaterials using electrothermal methods. His past research focused on designing and implementing improved electrical and thermal characterization methods for thermoelectric materials.
