After receiving his master’s degree in bio-geochemistry from The University of California he worked as a technical sales consultant, field application scientist, and contract researcher for NASA. In 2010 he founded RST Bioscience to create and consult revolutionary sustainable technologies in agriculture. His systems-integrated interdisciplinary approach has garnered international acclaim. RST Bioscience is a member of the winning team for “C40 Reinventing Cities”, a global competition to identify and support revolutionary sustainable technologies that address climate change”. His designs for a carbon-negative zero waste, vertical urban farm distinguished his team from the other finalists. Mr. Harding’s innovations are revolutionizing high-density urban farming. Harding is now at the helm of several companies that utilize his “circular farming” technology in the cultivation of food, medical marijuana, and hemp. Harding’s products and services help clients balance profits with environmental impacts and issues of equity and healthy food access.
