Professor and Director of UWM Industrial Assessment Center. Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, University of California. His research areas are in energy systems, power engineering, and water and wastewater treatment. He is the recipient of the AIAA Energy Systems Award (2013), ASME George Westinghouse Gold medal (2014), and ASME Henry R. Worthinton Medal (2020). He is an expert in energy research and has published four books, 34 book chapters, and over 150 journal papers. He is currently serving as Chief Editor for Int. J. Rotating Machinery, Associate Editor for ASME J. Energy Resources Technology. Currently, he is the Fellow of ASME, Royal Aeronautical Society, and Int. Society for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability (ISEES).
