Dr. Sam Salehian is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Aerospace Engineering Department of Tuskegee University, Alabama. He obtained his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in 2020.His research areas of interest include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics, and Propulsion. Dr. Salehian is a member of the NASA ULI team (Boston University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Virginia Tech, Tuskegee University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Joby Aviation) and this active research project is focusing on Safe, Low-Noise Operation of UAM in Urban Canyons via Integration of Gust Outcomes and Trim Optimization.
