Sang M. Han (PhD, 1998 UC Santa Barbara) is a Regents Professor in the Departments of Chemical & Biological Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering at UNM and CTO of Osazda. Han currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for DOE DuraMAT program. Han has over 25 years of experience in electronic and photonic materials engineering and fabrication. Dr. Han holds 21 UNM-affiliated U.S. patents and 17 pending U.S. and PCT patent applications. His recent focus has been cell-crack-tolerant MMC metallization, advanced materials characterization, and fracture mechanics. He was inducted into the National Academy of Inventors in 2023.
