Dixon Strategies is a vehicle to support small and mid-sized businesses in aligning operational strategy with big goals and, of course, supporting people. Summer has supported a wide range of businesses, from healthcare startups to mid-size manufacturers, since founding the firm. Prior to Dixon Strategies, Summer enjoyed a 20-year corporate career. After time in the chemical industry, she worked for Farm Credit Mid-America (FCMA), a $36B lending cooperative, for 18 years. Most of her roles with FCMA were in leadership with increasing responsibility. Summer has served as Regional Vice President leading all sales and operations, Vice President of Business Systems and Processes and, eventually, Managing Director Rural 1st Operations. These roles are indicative of her ability to successfully create new multi-functional teams, lead through the creation of processes, implement systems, and exceed organizational goals.
