bio
Kwaï mziwi! N’deliwizi Suzie O’Bomsawin. Aln8baskwa nia wji Odanak. My name is Suzie O’Bomsawin and I am an Abenaki from Odanak. After having lived almost 10 years in Quebec City, I moved back to my community in March 2013. This return to my roots gave me the opportunity to devote more attention to her Nation, but also to the First Nation youth in general. Since August 2011, I has been a spokesperson for the Quebec and Labrador First Nations Youth Network. I am also a member of the M8WWA Committee, youth committee of Odanak. Overall, I fight for the recognition of the rights of First Nations and for the place we deserve on Mother-Earth.
