I have been in the technology installation business my entire adult life and just recently expanded into the solar industry. My father started a home satellite sales and service business in 1985 as a side hustle. When he was laid off by the defense contractor that he worked for, he had to make it a full-time gig and we never looked back. From residential satellite systems to commercial satellite installations in 1993 to high-speed networks, free to guest networks and multiple other technologies today, we have adapted, transformed and moved forward with the technology environment. Solar is the next phase of our continued growth, offerings and success. I have always been a community minded person and have always looked for ways to help make my community and others a better place to live. This is what excites me about solar energy. Moving into the solar industry, I feel that I can serve my community while continuing to grow my business. When I learned about community solar, I knew right away that this was the area I wanted to make my primary focus.
