bio
Hi everyone, my name is Thuy Phi, and I am from San Jose, California. I am currently double majoring in nursing and graphic/interactive design with a minor in humanities here at De Anza/Foothill Community College. I strongly believe the converging worlds of health sciences and design will contribute to building a healthier future for adults as well as the pediatric population. Aside from being a student, my research interests center around cardiovascular, oncology research, and most importantly, simulation education for healthcare providers. This past year, I have became more engaged in biodesign, and recently, I have accepted to participate in Hack the Planet (and human's health). This is wonderful opportunity to generate disruptive ideas to help society transition from environmental awareness to real actions. I hope to relate this opportunity to create solutions with the support of my teammates to prepare creative solutions to issues regarding algae value chain here at the US Department of Energy.
