Tony Robinson, MS, is President of Axis Building Consultants. He holds a BA in Philosophy/English from the University of California at Berkeley, and a MS in Design, Engineering Technology and Business Administration from the University of North Texas. He has over 35 years of experience in the building industry, including design, engineering technology, product development and construction management. He is Adjunct Professor in Environmental Sustainability at Southern Methodist University and is the Author & Editor of High-Performance Buildings: A Guide for Owners & Managers (Routledge-Taylor & Francis 2014). He has published papers for AEE, CTSI, ISERC, IEEE, ASES, among others, and he gives presentations for technical conferences, trade organizations, academic institutions, businesses, and non-profits
