Tracy Wallace is a justice warrior—environmental, social, economic—who believes access and equity are the cures to poverty. She is founder (2016) and Executive Director of Green Careers Texas. With tenacity and passion, Tracy works to connect hard-to-employ low-income neighbors with living wage employment in a variety of entry-level clean energy jobs. GCT provides free training in solar PV installation, Building Science Principles, and OSHA 10 safety certification while connecting trainees to soft-skills support and needed services. Tracy is a 5th-generation Texan who received her degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. She also serves on the nonprofit boards of Congo Restoration and Miles of Freedom.
