Hello, my name is Varshini Ganesh and I am a Neuroscience major at The University of Texas at Dallas.
With a passion for science from my childhood, I have prior experience in healthcare settings such as Baylor Scott and White Medical Center, Carrollton Regional Medical Center in Texas as well as UT Southwestern Clements Center and Greene's Neuroscience/Psychiatry Lab of research at UT Southwestern.
As an upbeat and self-motivated student, I envision an exciting future in the field of medicine. I am also the President and Co-chair of the Refugee Care Initiative, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves the refugee community in Dallas. I'm learning Bharatanatyam (South Indian classical dance) for the past 8 years. As a dancer, I learn and teach other students as well as facilitate YADA (Youth Development of Arts) sessions, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by a community of professional dancers/students across the United States.
