“I believe that we must leave a healthy planet to our children.”
I was born in Boston MA in 1950, and graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1978. I was a medical scientist at NIH and Walter Reed for most of my career, as a doctor in the US Navy. I am married and have two grown children. I became active in local climate work in 2016, when it seemed that the federal government would not be taking action. I am a member of the River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Bethesda, and in 2017 started the Montgomery County Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions to bring together people of many faiths to work together against climate change.
