Yin Chen graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering and another in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. She obtained her Master's of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. She has been working for the US Army ARDEC at Picatinny Arsenal as an Aerospace Engineer for the past 9 years. Her research interests are in Aero prediction and computer methods thereof.
