Our chosen treasure is inspired by a movie entitled “Pirates of the Caribbean”. We choose this theme because it’s all about oceans where pirates look for treasures. It may be seem cliché but it has deeper meaning and moral values.
The object chosen to be our treasure is a mirror made of spoons that is placed inside the water proof epoxy resin square glass shape bottle. Inside the epoxy resin, we placed green plastic bottles and plastic spoons that are being recycled into different products. Recycled products that are being used are good for the environment because instead of throwing it or dumping it anywhere and may cause harm not only to humans but also to the environment, we can reuse and recycle it and it can benefit us in a good way because recycling can save resources, energy and the environment. It lessen the garbage in our community and our society. By reducing our waste and recycling as much as possible, we will be helping to reduce the production of ash and saving the world’s precious resources. Recycling our waste makes us more responsible in the way we use and dispose of it. It is evident from studies that people who do this instinctively cut down on buying unwanted things from the supermarket. They think of how to dispose of the packaging or the product after use before even buying it. As a result, people end up saving a considerable amount of money while also saving the planet. This is why we chose this concept, recycling materials to save and help mother earth. Mother Earth is in danger; life on Earth is in danger. Let us come together to save our life-giving and life-saving Mother Earth because without it we are nothing.
