PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY! You ("Innovator”) and NBIF ("Challenge Sponsor”) are entering into this Challenge-Specific Agreement ("CSA”) for this particular incentive-based competition ("Challenge”) only. In order to participate in this Challenge, Innovator must accept these terms, and therefore should take the time to understand them.
If Innovator clicks "Accept" and proceeds to register for this Challenge, this CSA will be a valid and binding agreement between Innovator and Challenge Sponsor and is in addition to the existing HeroX Terms of Use for all purposes relating to this Challenge. Innovator should print and keep a copy of this CSA. No provisions that Innovator may have agreed to that are specific to any other individual challenge will apply.
The Breakthru Start-Up Competition is open to entrepreneurs that are committed to launching and operating a new and innovative business venture in the province of New Brunswick. Any individual or team may enter the competition per the terms and conditions found in the Breakthru Participant Handbook.
Submissions must be received by the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation on or before 11:59 PM, February 17th, 2021 using this online form submission only. We do not accept paper or email submissions.
Please note that your application will not be complete without the signature of each team member. If any team member is unable to sign electronically, missing signatures will need to be collected prior to attending the bootcamp. If we have not received all signatures by March 3rd, 2021 your request will be disqualified.

While the NBIF will make reasonable efforts to ensure that each submission is managed with confidentiality, it or its agents and assigns will not assume responsibility of any nature or kind either directly or indirectly for misappropriation or misuse of information by reviewers or evaluators engaged by the NBIF in the assessment of the submission. Therefore, applicants are requested not to submit any proprietary information with their initial application.
Each participant hereby asserts and acknowledges that all of the information and assertions stated in this application are correct and accurate, to the best of their knowledge. Each participant understands that NBIF will retain this application. By signing this application, each participant hereby acknowledges and accepts all of the Competition's Terms and Conditions as outlined in the Participant Handbook. Furthermore, by signing below, each participant acknowledges that they have read and understood the Participant Handbook.
