Eligible vs. Ineligible Checklist for Submissions
- Check first: does the submission meet various minimum eligibility/rule requirements? (e.g. minimum/maximum age of competitor, location, page length, format, professional prerequisites, uploaded via platform etc. when applicable)
- Check second: does it meet the basic judging criteria requirements?
- Check third: does it meet the quality of other submissions (grammar, spelling, etc.) Also take into consideration: do you want your judges to see this submission (does it answer all of the required questions and provide a solution to the problem?)
If the submission in question does not “pass” any of these steps, mark the submission as “Ineligible”. If the submission passes, mark it as “Eligible” for the judging panel.
