Overview

Background

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

No, seriously names are important. So important that they are pretty much life and death for any product, event, or project.

So, we need your help.

Give us a name!

The Objective

HeroX and project management company GetLeverage are coming together to host a webinar exploring the future of work.

Basically, the old way of work is dead and HeroX and GetLeverage are here to usher you into the new wave.

Just think about it, no one wants to work the ordinary 9-5 anymore, remote companies are taking over, and people are working more for passion than for monetary gain.

Where You Come In

We need a name for this awesome webinar. Give us a name and we will give you a bounty if your name is chosen.

About the Webinar

Coming up this year, Leverage Co Founders Ari Meisel and Nick Sonnenberg will join HeroX CEO Christian Cotichini on a webinar to explore the Future of Work with Crowdsourcing and Outsourcing.

With a goal to connect with individuals and entrepreneurs all around the world, the founders plan to discuss:

  • Current Trends in the Workforce - Humans & Technology

  • Culture Development

  • Innovative Thought-Leadership Regarding Culture

  • Ideas on Millennials

  • The Future of the Workplace 2020

And much, much more...

More about HeroX

On October 21, 2004, Scaled Composites' SpaceShipOne reached the edge of space, an altitude of 100km, becoming the first privately built spacecraft to perform this feat, twice within two weeks.

In so doing, they won the $10 million Ansari XPRIZE, ushering in a new era of commercial space exploration and applications.

It was the inaugural incentive prize competition of the XPRIZE Foundation, which has gone on to create an incredible array of incentive prizes to solve the world's Grand Challenges — ocean health, literacy, space exploration, among many others.

In 2011, City Light Capital partnered with XPRIZE to envision a platform that would make the power of incentive challenges available to anyone. The result was the spin-off of HeroX in 2013.

HeroX was co-founded in 2013 by XPRIZE founder Peter Diamandis, challenge designer Emily Fowler and entrepreneur Christian Cotichini as a means to democratize the innovation model of XPRIZE.

HeroX exists to enable anyone, anywhere in the world, to create a challenge that addresses any problem or opportunity, build a community around that challenge and activate the circumstances that can lead to a breakthrough innovation.

More about Get Leverage

The idea for Leverage begin, as many companies do, with a personal struggle. Nine years ago, Meisel was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, and found he needed to reduce his own stress levels by slowing down how much he was doing – leading to a need for outsourced help.

When he met friend and co-founder Nick Sonnenberg, who then happened to be working on his own productivity app at the time, the startup idea was born.

Through excruciating amounts of trial and error, Ari not only regained control of his life but beat this seemingly unbeatable disease — and is now symptom-free.

Less Doing, More Living and Leverage Virtual Assistants are the result of Ari’s amazing journey back to health, happiness, and well-being.
