The University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez is very interested to compete at the Solar District Competition given the opportunity to use the acquired knowledge with the reality of Puerto Rico. The SDC will be very helpful train the next generation of solar energy engineers in Puerto Rico.
The UPRM's Team is lead by Dr. Eduardo I. Ortiz-Rivera from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Members of the team are part of the UPRM's Research Team Minds2CREATE. The team consists of students from different backgrounds including electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, busines administration, etc.
