A strategic partnership between the City of Houston, TX and the State of Nuevo Leon, MX, for green hydrogen projects, results in a complex endeavor with considerable environmental, economic and social impacts.
To ensure this partnership’s success, it is essential to consider among the proposed activities, a special focus on feasibility assessments, challenges in the regulatory framework, research and development projects, supply chain integration and investment attraction, infrastructure requirements, training and specialization, public awareness, and binational synergies to identify trade and export opportunities.
These group of activities shall be strategically planned and executed by different stakeholders in both cities, fostering a deeper collaboration which could also enable a proper framework for the deployment of this initiative.
